I have some pictures coming up of Halloween costumes, and from our ward's trunk or treat. As I was going through the memory card and found some older images that I decided to post. Our property slopes down quite abruptly in the back. In order to make room for a garden we have started to terrace it a bit.
This first photo presents the first products of our garden. When we moved in, there was a bare patch in our back lawn where the previous owners had filled in an old septic tank. We immediately planted tomatoes, cantaloupe, and peppers.
We brought in some topsoil and compost to cover the rocks that makeup our backyard. As we first started to move it around we were all careful to wear masks. Susie was careful to keep hers on, but I think that the rest were lost along the way.
We love our house, backyard, and street.
This picture is from a recent party where we invited many of the graduate students that I work with over to our home.
