Calling the police

Day 2 -  As we were waiting for Ken to get our hotel key, I saw a man come to the car parked next to mine.  He was in his mid twenties to thirties, white, had facial hair around his face and was approximately 5 foot 8 or so, and wearing a vikings jacket.  This man fiddled with a handful of keys trying each one while looking over his shoulder. Finally he got one of the keys to work, and he acted like he had just hit the jack pot.  he opened the door and took a look at the side of the front door, than he unlocked each door and looked inside the car.  It was at this point that I called the police.  The man was still looking through the car and I was easily able to give the police the address of the place, and the description of the man. Ken walked out and took a look at him and saw that he headed in the north eastern direction.  I quickly told Ken what was going on and he wrote the licence place down and told me what kind of car it was.  I went inside the hotel and talked with the hotel desk clerk, Soon the police arrived and a helicopter roamed around the area.  I don't know what happened to him but I do know that that car was still there in the morning when we left.  I hope that we helped.

Day 3  - Today was really fun. We slept in and missed our breakfast, but we had plenty of food in our cooler so that was cool.  We got ready for church and found the nearest one.  The homes looked so beautiful.  Lots of land and well taken care of.  When we got to church, there was not a single spot to park, so we parked in a spot near the side of the road. They were having a stake conference and it was packed. I mean really packed. We knew that we couldn't stay the whole time because of the place where we had parked.  So after a few more talks we left.  The feeling that we got at that church was so nice, everyone was so friendly and it just felt nice to know that the gospel is the same everywhere.

Next we went to the Winter Quarters Temple and took some pictures. We also walked around the graveyard grounds and found some of our ancestors.  It was really windy and getting colder, so we got in the car and headed for Fontelle Forest.

We had a lot of fun here. There was a place for the kids to dress up as different animals, and Braxton decided that he wanted to be a skunk (man was he cute as he was pretending to spray dad). Then he decided to be a bumble bee, again he pretended that he was stinging dad.  Tavin dressed as a turtle. He was so cute. He hopped around instead of crawling, then he decided to be a bat.  The bat costume was fun as he flapped around and ran all over.  After seeing what was inside we went outside and took pictures of beautiful trees and went for a hike.  We wanted to stay longer but the wind picked up and even with our coats wrapped around us we were beginning to freeze.

A few hours of driving today the kids took naps. Than the outside wind was rocking the car and the road was getting slippery so we decided to stop.

After unpacking, we went swimming and played with the kids. It was really fun, and the boys had a lot of fun. After about an hour we went to get cleaned up and watched movies. What a wonderful day.
